I think the seller probably wants the money asap so he can get down to Currys or somewhere this weekend. The TV is "collection only". Anyway, he's agreed to wait till Sunday for his money, but we have to get there handy, which means setting off at 8.30 tomorrow. That's going to be quite tough, as tonight is a works Christmas 'do', and as I'm not much of a drinker I'm likely to be pretty ill tomorrow :(Quote:

Excellent advice Alan, which I totally failed to heed. The result being that I've felt like death warmed up all day. And I wasn't even out that late - when I found myself queuing outside a pub where everyone else supposedly was, in the pouring rain, I decided I'd had enough and phoned Anitacabs to come collect me.Quote:

This is so divorced from reality for normal folk as to be ridiculous. To even own that much bling shows that real world values simply don't apply. In any case, why the hell did she have that much jewellery in her home! Nuts! Although, I suspect this just a drop on the ocean for that family.
