Makes me wonder how the original occupants of my house managed back in 1901. It was colder then (allegedly) and they didn't have the benefit of double glazing or man-made fibres. It's a wonder they survived the night.

Always found the best way to warm up is go for a good walk to get the blood circulating. Trouble was this morning was so cold it took quite a good deal of walking
for that theory to kick in. Another thing is as the years go by you feel the cold more I m afraid!
As I seem to be finding. Mind you, the BP meds accentuate this too.Quote:

Since having a new, and far more efficient, heating system installed recently, my fiancé is complaining about the cold. FFS - the thermostat says it's 22-23 degree C; I'm perfectly warm enough, but then she was born only 500 miles from the Equator!
Tell her to put on an extra jumper! ;)
