LOL! My very first Classical LP purchase was also Holst's 'Planets', but on Music for Pleasure, and performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Leopold Stokowski. It was in mono, because my parents only had a single channel 'radiogram'. :lol: Haven't played it in ages - probably it's now shagged having been played on a groove grinder too many times. :rolleyes:
