Although no lover of the SNP you could probably make similar lists on other parties as well. Nice to see the saintly SNP ( as some seem to think) brought down a peg or 2 though ;)
Happy reading Marco :)
Lol - no idea what you mean by the "saintly SNP"... And as I've said before, I only support Scottish independence [as I abhor unjust English Westminster rule and support Scotland's right to be in charge of its own destiny], that's all, nothing else. I'm not a Sturgeon or SNP fanboy.
There'll be no "happy reading" either, as I've got better things to waste my time on than that pish!
Marco.
Of course you could, but as with anything like this you have to wonder how true some of it is. Politics these days is all about slinging mud and hoping some sticks.
I picked one of the more interesting ones - 42. *Kenny Maclaren SNP councillor suspended for book burning.
Book burning? Sounds like the Nazis. But what was the truth?
And in fact a quick search shows that no books were burnt. What they actually burnt were some copies of The Smith Commission Report (yes, I had to look that up too) as a publicity stunt.

And then you wonder how many of the others are true...
Whilst I couldn't care less whether the Scots go independent or not I don't like the SNP because they are socialists. Even so just goes to show you can't believe everything you read, even if you'd really like to.
Can you burn a Kindle?
yes, ideally use a flamethrower.
Good post. most of which I concur with, especially this:
Indeed. And also *wanting* to believe as FACT that which you've read best fits your belief system or political bias, using it as 'proof' to support its veracity, and in turn creating a false smug belief of 'correctness', in an attempt to score points against others with different beliefs!;)
Hilarious.
Marco.
socialist ideals per say are not bad; quite the opposite, but like most things, shouldn't be taken too far. Once you start heading into a "nanny state" then that is not socialist, but more communist imv.
PS, if Scotland did ever get independance, the SNP would be one of the first to go after the uk controlled so called Scottish tories and Scottish Labour who are just puppets; hence why they do so badly now.
