Spanish type guitar with some poppy overtones, very easy listening with just enough virtuosity to keep it interesting. Moving away from 50s/60s era Blue Note post bop to easier on the ear later jazz and its offshoots.

It's rare, but I have sometimes picked up a CD cheap in, say a charity shop "on spec", only to find I don't like it at all upon listening - so I will return it. :eek:
