With summer round the corner, decided to lose the Winter tyres on the Brera and get her Summer boots on.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4s
The improvement in grip, noise and ride comfort is terrific, reckon these are the best tyres I've used?
The cars got great 'stance' and I love the look of the wheels, but felt they were recessed in the arches a bit?
Fixed that by fitting 20mm Eibach hubcentric wheel spacers, brought the wheels out to better fill the arches.
Way better now, much happier with how the car looks. The wider stance just brings out more 'Alfa' in how it looks.

It was so sick it that the wing mirrors wouldn't even go in, and trying to get into the car set the alarm off, which probably pleased the neighbours at 10.30pm. I probably ought to check it again. Maybe the battery really is on its last legs. Mrs d keeps suggesting that we sell it, but we wouldn't get much for it, even though it's in nice condition and goes well. Such is the way of the world.
Perhaps I'm being too cautious in keeping it, but my point is that if anything fails with the EVs we'll be stuffed, plus also if we ever have pleasant enough weather to drive around with the roof down, that's the car to use.
I may actually get round to asking some audio related questions in a day or two - for example concerning the newer (and trendier?) range of speakers - such as the KEF LS50s.
I had to replace my car battery recently. I hadn't realised how 'sophisticated' modern batteries are - and how expensive: I was expecting to pay about £100, but I had to pay £240. :doh:
