the kaptur is one i might look at too. good size etc and the new one gets a good name. brother had both a renault and a fiat, which were changes from his usual vw and said both were decent cars and better priced.

others are at moment the vw tiguan, skoda karoq, both petrol and bigger. think the karoq is pick of the 2. would love a superb but think its too low and probably too big nowadays.

yeah the problem with full electric is finding fast chargers on big runs on motorways that are working and dont have a 10 car queue. petrol of course is plentiful at any station. no doubt its getting better but is it good enough yet? not that i travel much tbh but its offputting to only have one 100kw charger in a hundred miles and its not working;)

Been very happy with my Clio, 15 plate and I've had it 5 years. Pay £12 a month to cover annual servicing and MOTs at the main dealer where I bought it.

Pal of mine has a Superb, traded his Merc in for it. He was a bit disappointed with it, and after we'd driven all the way to Fort William in it he had grown to hate it. Good car to be a passenger in though, loads of room.

Nice looking car. Not so sure of colour tho.

I'm not sure whether I like it or hate it... The colour is quite cool (dull/brutal shades are 'me'), nothing that looks too 'cheery':eyebrows:, as I like cars to look 'menacing' and purposeful, but I'm unsure about the rest.

20" wheels on an estate car?:hmm: Fake 'sporty sounds', to make it sound 'racy':hmm: and anyway most of all, what do the French know about making sports cars, or anything purporting to be such?:scratch::D

I'd need to drive it to form any kind of proper opinion, plus I'm not a fan of hybrids either. And only a 1.6L engine? For a staunch '3L or nowt' man, a tad weedy... Still, it's an interesting option to consider, which is a bit different from the norm, and that's something the French (and Italians) are good at:)

It’s not bad looking in terms of styling, but the colour is dreadful (it might look better when they put the topcoat on!) and the black wheels and blacked out windows make it look like chav/drug dealer transport.

But worse than all of that, it’s French.
