Have borrowed three different sets of E's from PQ over the years, the last ones being the fancy silver-wired, silver voice-coiled high efficiency jobbies. With assorted amps also borrowed including the silver sig version of the Oto phono, a Meishu silver sig and some Conquest (or Conqueror - can't remember) monoblocks.Quote:

Why three sets? Well I really wanted to see what the fuss is about. But in the end I have to conclude I really don't get E's at all, big boomy, floppy cabinet things that aren't a proper floor stander but take up a floorstander amount of space, rear ported as well so a pig to position in a lot of rooms ... the smaller ones (Ks and Js) are better. (I had some Snell Js for a bit and they were good fun - for a couple of hundred quid ....).
