Someone's first winter.
Cute, Simon! :respect:
Marco.
Couple from earlier. It hasn't gone above freezing point for three days here so under the snow is two inches of ice. More snow falling now and more forecast. I don't care though, I love snow! :)

Nice house Andy
Thanks Andre, best thing is that I can play music whenever and as loud as I want with no issues from neighbours. :) Oh and I have my own "toy" room
This is garden last year

Nice one, Andy. Old properties rool, eh? ;) Love the snow scene, too. Snowy landscapes are just so much more interesting than those when the weather is nice.
Marco.
My Mrs has taken some great shots but I can't figure out how to get them posted here. Anybody tell me how to do it? Will have some shots of my hifi room soon that I want to put up too.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
Upload them onto photobucket, i generally use an image size of around 800x600.. Take the IMG code link, paste it on here.
Thanks Andre, will have to open an account. Will do that when I have a bit more time, got to finish decorating first:(
Cheers.
Good thinking batman :eyebrows:
I'm full of stoopit ideas! :eyebrows:
Marco.
It's Victorian Andre. It was built by a successful speculative developer as his own home and has some advanced construction features for its age such a cavity walls although, it still had working gas lamps when I bought it even though it was electrified in the early 1900's. The house does have a number of both Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts features.
The nice thing in the Winter is that we've got 9 original fireplaces that we can use to make it feel nice and cosy.
9? Fook that... ONE is bad enough cleaning out and lighting every morning! :D
Marco.
Andy's garden looks a lot like Narnia:

Let me see if this works. If it does this is looking out from one of our outbuildings.http://s1336.beta.photobucket.com/us...modee/library/
Will get cocky and try some more if this works.
Tanks Marco for your kind offer to upload them but I like to try to make stuff work when I can't do it at first. My Wife calles it "bloke" disease.
Reading manuals is another symptom :-)
Dave.

I know some people can't drive in snow but if they think it's ok to abandon their vehicle in my back garden they have another thing coming.

It's when I see pictures like this I hanker after moving to Scotland, but I would be so far away from my friends. If I didn't have any (I have got some honest ;)), I would be there like a shot as I find the thought of living away from the rat race rather appealing.
Been cross country skiing this weekend, in the mountains of Dalecarlia;
