Cheers, well it'd have to be "bits in" i'm afraid :nocomment:
Oh hell, that's the cider i'm thinking of  not the bath water :eyebrows:
Talking of which, roll on 6PM & snakebite time

Another chap with a 6pm watershed! Join the club!
Yes :) All things in moderation, including the moderation :eyebrows:
On odd occasions i'll have a drink before 6PM, possibly when guests are round or on xmas & birthday ;)
Other than that i always stick to the 6PM deadline give or take a bit :smoking:
Hahaha, whatever floats yer boat, chaps. My 'watershed' is anytime after 12 noon!
As I'm self-employed (although semi-retired) and work from home, it's not unknown for me to have a couple of glasses of wine or a beer with lunch - especially in the summer when the weather is nice!
Of course, I can go for a wee nap afterwards, if I choose, before going back to the grind ;)
Ah, it's a hard life! :eyebrows:
Marco.
I'm in at 30 with a bullet.
It would appear that my old mate DSJR has far too much time on his hands..:ner:
i have a guiness at lunch on a friday ... i dont see anything wrong with that
id be pissed off too martin!
If your lunch break is unpayed as most peoples are then there isn't a lot they can do about it.
Also unless you signed a new employment contract which states that drinking is banned on lunch breaks & you accept the fact i'd simply ignore it as they don't have a leg to stand on :eyebrows:
Cheers
i've just come in and it's gone 7 so i'm aving a beer, i don't drink much during the week but i have been outside working since 7.15 am so i think i deserve one tonight, nice to see i'm in at 27 this time and still in the top ten for 3 words daily, happy posting everyone
I used to drink snakebites. Occaisonally with a Pernod and black dropped in for good measure.
However, since a certain experience I had one night involving far too much cider and Pernod  and the inability to extricate myself from the bath, I cannot go near either of those again.
i got very ill on cider when i was 16 at a party, i couldn't touch it for 20 years but i now enjoy the odd pint now and again, just mind over matter to get over that feeling of nausia i used to have if i went near it.
:lolsign:
I was drinking round a friends one evening while we recorded what he'd produced from DAT to CD recorder & had a few drinks whilst doing it. Upon completion his flatmates other half who i knew quite well turned up & offered me some Tequila... I proceeded to sample various bottles as she & her boyfiend had just got back from a holiday in Mexico :) Upon being run home we happened to drop in on her other half who happened to work in a bar at a social club (Thomas cook) & he served me a double Tequila on the house  What happened after that i'm not quite sure, i think i must have gone back to the flat, though it's all kind of hazy. What i do know is that i eventually got escorted home & i was let through the front door by whoever transported me, they locked me in & posted the keys through the letterbox as i was kind of leaning against the door
The next day i woke up drunk, not hung over  I went into work & managed to electrocute myself at least 3 times with a 4.5KV flash tester. I think i got home at the end of the day & by that time i was getting the hangover bit :lolsign:
Superb dedication.
I used to brew my own cider, I used double sugar and yeast and finally decanted into bottles with a little bit more sugar. This produced a highly quaffable "light" tasting cider. Unfortunately, it was so quaffable, that 2 of us managed to drink 3 gallons of it in one night.:eek:
Well folks, it's been a while since we last did this. I said I'd do it every 6 months, but we thought we'd give it a rest for a bit. So now it's over 18 months since we last saw an indication of how pissed off our loved ones really are with us - empirical evidence of our on-line existences.
So let's see who's spending too much time at the keyboard then shall we?
No prizes for guessing who's top of the tree..............
But first of all, select your favourite music for the chart run-down from these:
Here are The Art of Sound's Top 50 Posters as of an hour or so ago.

I really need to make an effort to get on with the missus better..
Don't bother! ;)
Nice work again, Chris. The stats show that more of our new members are hanging out and becoming regulars, which is good thing - and long may it continue!
This is what happens when you provide people with a friendly community
Marco.
I was rather shocked to see my total posts have doubled since the last time. It's nice to see there are lots of the newer names in there which is good............or bad if you're married to them!
Interesting.
It's no wonder that Mark (Reid M) is havig a break, I expect he's busy cooling his fingers in large bowl of iced water.
Damn, I'm showing my single status :)
Single - when did that happen? Oh, unless you mean in terms of living on your own...
Marco.
Lol, yup. For a horrible moment there I thought that you'd split up with Ruth!
Marco.
No way! :)
Cool... You guys should really be tying the knot ;)
Marco.
One day, when her daughter's schooling is finished and my house comes out of negative equity..
Why is the OP banned?
It made me smirk when reading the Ethos post.
Or is it a joke? Not seen him post since I've been here.
I'll snm then :D
I need to get a life - had one once... mumbles off into the deep distance.
Me, a new entry at 24, pop pickers.
Hmm, must try harder.
Blimey ... Can't believe I am still so hi!
I have over 7000 posts on my forum too ... Oh dear ...

Thank God! I'm not on there.
(Copied over from the Birthday thread in the Notice Board)
I've been looking at the posting figures and done the Top Posters Table again. This time, however, I've done the Top 100.
NB: You may notice a little variance between your score now and that on the list, but these things take time to put together.
I'm afraid since this is the first time I've done the Top 100, I can't say whether you've gone up or down in the rankings if you weren't in the Top 50 last time.

......Darren - you're Number 112 - nearly on the list this time mate!Quote:
Quote Darren: Thank God! I'm not on there.
Just made the top 100... Note to self, must post more crap!
Get yerself over to 'Three Words Daily' right now.
That's Marco & Andre's secret weapon!
Great effort, Chris. Fourth!! I must get out more...
I'm halfway, more like half-wit!
Not that it matters, but I am amazed to find myself at #27 :stalks:
Whoa  - number 20 -- I must get out more! :eyebrows:
Sorry about the image size by the way - it looked fine on my laptop last night but it's loblocksed up my page-width this morning when looking at it on the PC. It's a lot of info to get on one image and for it to still be readable.
No worries, Chris. It looks fine, and thanks for putting the effort in to do it - must be a bit of a nightmare!
Marco.
It's a little tedious and repetitive, but not nearly as bad as you'd think actually. There are ways to make a spreadsheet do most of the work. Trouble is, it's a moving target & you need to do it all in one hit & publish it asap otherwise the scores move on (some quicker than others!)
Excel is your friend, no?Quote:
