I MUST get my 401 sorted soon, did yours come with the plinth or did you source it separately? Looks great, as does the flying saucer-esque JVC!
Got the 401 from Floydroid and just added a Nagaoka MP110 which it seems to like. Bought the JVC new over forty years ago and it’s still going strong.
I have Nagaoka MP30 in mine which does work really nicely, so yes I would agree there is synergy there. There used to be someone in Eastern Europe (I think?) who did really nice plinths for them on eBay but the price skyrocketed last time I looked. I will pull my finger out soon…. Only had it 40 years, can’t rush these things!
