There is a big (8ft x 4ft) green baize covered notice board opposite the speakers, this seems to work well, not that the colour will make any difference. I've found that the area behind the speakers needs to be very live. Along one side of the room I have all my CDs and the records go half the length of the room. I feel I have the LEDE right, certainly it's critical to get right, the most important are with OBs being what's behind them and their distance from the rear wall.
