I got the impression he was a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff, or just keen to shift some of it to make some room. I think they recently requested offers on it as a 'job lot' through their website. It wouldn't surprise me if stuff was finding its way on to ebay. Pioneer PD-S504, Stable Platter model with coax digital output and Legato Link Conversion, which I rather like despite some detractors, it does seem to allow a more 'analogue' type of rendition.
Should go cheap and they tend to be reliable too.
Probably not going to be a bargain, and they're on the other side of the Atlantic, but .............phwoooar!
