Dunno, not seen one, but the laser sounds like its knackered. looks good though as an expression of art.
How does your nobsound?:D:D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nobsound-V...item463616462f Answers on a post card or a sealed down envelope please
Very childish i know but couldn't resist, i blame the diet of carry on films we were brought up on
Kabuki or quality? Only 10 quid + postage at the moment(2 days left), apparently they can use an external xover to drive all units independently(not included) or the internal one for full range http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pioneer-CS...16.m2518.l4276
I got mine second hand from a wammer I think for a larf myself. With right speakers it is quite decent although it doesn't use the valves very much/ just one side of them. if mammory serves it likes 8 ohm ones.:eyebrows: handy for a spare or tester though and surprisingly robust
Well it sports a VU meter (), so can't be bad!
Really nice Kenwood turntable.
And they're up again, BIN this time.

And with the Elton John connection downplayed...I wonder why?!?!
And the Red driver is one of the late ones - non hammerite, strawberry/pinkish magnet cover - that collectors seem to rate only a little above golds...Still, despite the impedance mismatch and the different crossover we are assured once again that sound wise you simply cannot tell the difference...
So that's alright then.
I think Paul explained the different drivers etc in his for sale post on here.

Hi Nial,
You obviously haven’t seen this (they were owned by Paul Stewart, on AoS):

If these go a cheaply as I think they might, they’ll be a REAL bargain:

Found this on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Separo-sin...-/121591197375
Covered in filth and dust that the owner obviously didn't see the need to polish and then did a search and found out that this amp is only £325 brand new...! I think I'd rather have the brand new one.
He says he has not done the internals then goes on to say what he has done inside....very confused he is....
this will be better in ebay listings...I'll move it b4 you and I get rows ;)
Very odd. Tannoy DC1000 speakers complete with original cabinets, housed in home made sixties style enclosures. Strange (and probably awful).

Anybody near Suffolk want a decent amp? Seventies Goodmans One Ten receiver, looking in fine condition. These are quite punchy and sound rather good. (DIN inputs by the way)

Very nice little pre-amp for somebody (especially if you've got a set of matching power amps).

A pair of real horrors here. Ancient Goodmans Maxim speakers with dirt cheap piezo tweeters fitted and this clown is asking £399????
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1116065522...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The Maxims are well overpriced crap anyway. I've owned them. Usually I paid about £8 a pair at boot sales and they're not very good.
Cheap releasable cable ties. Very handy! Keep cables neat and also great for keeping spanner sets and the like together.

Low use Ortofon MC25FL MC cartridge at a fair price. These sound superb! Not far behind the revered SPU for sheer musicality.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ortofon-MC...item3f48f4ae44
Good price. as you say a well regarded cart.
Rare and interesting Pioneer tt. Shame it is not 100%. Still might be worth a punt at the asking.
These are cabs from GEC metal coned loudspeakers. Originally each contained two 8" ish metal coned drivers, one with a tweeter screwed into the pole piece. Inside a felt baffle hung down, about midway between the drivers and the back. From the cabinetry and the felt baffle (which I think was a Briggs design), the cabs might well have originated with Wharefdale, but made specially for GEC.
The pair I have had blown drivers, the tweeters were ok, and the cabs I've retained with the vague idea of Frankensteining some interesting drivers in at some future date...Tannoy DC2000's with knackered cabinets but ok drivers for little money were on the lookout list as potential donors.
Annoyingly I've got loads of Tannoy 12" DC's but they're too big to go in.
And in all honesty, it's not that high priority as a project.
Something will come along at sometime and that'll do when it does.
