Nah, if I was ever to have a car in matt black, it'd come professionally painted that way from the factory! Any aftermarket attempts in comparison, would either be a bodge or very expensive to do right! Wraps? No chance:D
Seen a few brand new M3s round here in that finish, with black wheels and red seats, and they look well cool:)

I think it all depends on the car and the body shape. The first time I saw a matt finish (on I think a BMW) was in Cameroon. One would expect a bit of 'bling' there, but I have to say it looked very stylish and certainly a bit different from the rest. I did wonder at the time how well the matt finish would last and what would be the best way to maintain it.
