The roasting and beans will make a big difference here. Go for an El Salvador, Cuban, or Mexican medium roast for example and they are not very acidic. Some beans like Kenya Blue Mountain are way too acidic for my tastes. Aeropress also keeps the acidity down vs machine I think.
I know these are a pretty standard available thing to get in the U.K.
They are probably available in your Tesco markets.
But we only see these around the holidays here, and never in tins this size!

shortbread?, yeah its made mostly in scotland i think.. always scottish stuff i buy.. love good shortbread.. my mum used to make great butter shortbread
