Obviously 'Hit Girl' can't have the same impact as she does in the first film so one of the planks that raised the original from lame to worth watching is removed. But it is still an entertaining enough romp if you enjoy an almost mindless combination of comic-book violence and ironic humour.

Just finished the final episode of Outlander season 2.... Great finale, and leaves an interesting start for the 3rd series, that is , I am told, in the making(I Hope its true). Very highly recommended series, ...so far

Just back from seeing the new Star Trek flick.
Best of the 3 new ones by quite a way, felt more like the original Star Trek than the previous two.

recommended.

Might take a day off in the week and go and see that. Liked the first one, not seen the second one yet.

I detest going to Movie theatres because of the Ludicrous DB levels. Can we say: Induced Hearing Loss?
So I won't be going to a film viewing venue..under most any circumstance.

I've been once in 20 years and that was to see the latest Star Wars film. I stopped going when they got rid of the smoking sections, also the local cinema back then had rubbish sound and the screens were too small.

Sound and screen size have improved since so I can live without the smoking, but it has to be something I am really interested in to make the effort. I'm very much a 'wait until it comes on the telly' man.

Ahh yess Dunno If it's the same in the UK But here the Db levels are V high!
As in I find it too loud with industrial quality Ear Plugs inserted... seriously.
I presume they must show off their Massive ($$$) sound systems ??. That and a Monkey see / Monkey do attitude.
Not withstanding the 1/2 hour or more of Adverts that precede each Film.

The new Star Wars film I saw had some bass issues - too much and a bit boomy. The SPL was high but it was clean so there was no wincing moments and I didn't feel the need for earplugs.

Loudest thing I ever heard was Eric Clapton at the Manchester Apollo in '86. 3 days for the ringing in my ears to subside. I don't think they let you do that no more, not legally anyways.
