Lol - indeed. Heavy is good though, for stability! When you're driving, it's good to feel that the car is properly 'planted' on the road.
And when you've got a big and powerful enough engine, weight doesn't matter... Consequently, when I'm driving on the motorway at 70/80mph, it hardly feels like you're moving, and the noise is virtually nil. In seventh gear, travelling at 80mph, the engine's only doing 2000 revs!
Last thing I want is a noisy, revvy wee engine buzzing in my ears, and a car rattling all over the place. I like my comfort, too ;)
The "boat anchor" also doesn't stop the Brabster reaching 0-60mph in 5.3 secs!! :eyebrows:
