Those are not AR grille cloths. I remember a brown alternative, but those shown on the AR4Xa speakers is the cheap Tygan type stuff that used to be sold in electrical shops (note the faint stripey effect). I used it myself.Quote:

The plugs have an interesting double "clip"/expansion band? (for want of a better word) to ensure good contact with the socket wall and are ok for soldering.

The number of them in the job lot would be a bargain for whoever bought them in the auction, not just for originality - they are a bloody good plug.
