Here's another from the same book I made a while ago.
It's basically an American book of recipes all with differing kinds of booze as an ingredient.
It was so interesting I have just bought the necessary to make it again.
The wife liked it a lot, too.
Jack Daniel Mac & Peas. She can't stand Jack as a drink, which makes it all the more interesting.
The peas really work texture wise. And the flavour really is excellent.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...19bb07d4f5.jpg
A sort of bacon and mushroom carbonara, with penne pasta and vegetables:
Muesli and fresh raspberries for desert, and a 2022 Médoc to drink.
Ham, onion in a white sauce on penne with vegetables.
Another ham omelette, this time with baked beans and chips:
A sort of beef risotto (using long grain rice as I don't like arabetto - it comes out too soft and sticky), green beans, asparagus, broccoli and carrot.
Chilli con carne, with green beans, cauliflower and carrot
