Listening to a Jazz Mix on Spotify 'when a great sounding but unfamiliar (to me) track came up, so found the album and now giving it a listen -

Not very well known, but extremely good IMO, even though they made the Jazz and Billboard charts several times, sadly the founder died in 1995 and they disbanded.
