Hahaha... Trust me, she possesses a more than 'adequate' vocabulary, enabling her to successfully communicate her desires, as erm, 'succinctly' as possible!
And yes, she has a few favourite high heels (mainly for work) more than able to dent my delicate big [largely empty] dome, lol. Wouldn't work today though, as she has dolly shoes on - or rather I should say 'had', as I notice she's kicked them off - and goodness knows where they've been dumped:rolleyes:
As for the chips, you're right but somewhat missing the point. When Del says that she WANTS chips, she means SERVED to her, not make them herself, and I wouldn't have a scooby how to use a deep-fat fryer.
Marco.
What part of the process confuses you? Is it the potato peeling? Or cutting them into chips? They don't have to be amphibious landing craft-shaped you know. Or is it pressing the 'on button'? Or even getting them out before they become fatty lumps of carbon? I'd say if you can fit and set up a phono cartridge you can probably master chips :)
And modern fryers are completely safe to use - no more drunken slumber while the kitchen burns down.
Born and raised in Glasgow, can't work a deep-fat fryer.
How is that even possible?
Lol - indeed, but I've never peeled a potato in my life (never had to), so would probably make a royal arse of it!
Marco.
Well, when yer mammy used tae dae it fur ye, and then ye goat maerrit, and yer wife done it, then ye never learned how - shimples!:D
I'd probably end up scraping my fingers to bits!! Also more to the point really, we've never eaten that much deep-fried food. Other than once a week, my dad would bring home some fish suppers from the shop, we never ate any deep-fried food.
Remember that we were/are Italian, not Scottish!;)
Marco.
An art to peeling a potato properly...;) hint you want a smallish, not too sharp knife
This one has just been sharpened so won't peel any til it's had some use. Too easy to cut myselfhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2e37fdfaed.jpg
i bring the knife towards me while rotating spud. if your careful you can do a whole one in one piece
Dad did all the frying. Marco just spent all the profits on records :) So when you had to work in dad's chippy to earn enough pocket money to amass 1,000's of records, just what did you do if not peel potatoes? Apart from deep-fry your ball bag for a window display? :)
