Nope - most of them would've rusted away by now! :eyebrows:
Have you never been tempted to get yourself a wee jalopy? You don't know the fun (and the freedom) you're missing!

If I had a car and could travel around the country at will do you realise how much hi-fi kit I would accumulate? It is best that I don't ;)
If I did though I would probably get a Lexus, an old one, LS400 or similar.
Lol... Interesting that an old Lexus would be your bag. In that case, we've got rather different taste in cars!

I like big, quiet, luxurious cars that are well engineered. Top speed and acceleration aren't really factors that are important to me. So we probably agree on the first and disagree on the second. Having said that I have not driven a car since 1987 so if I went back to it I might find my tastes had changed.
Indeed... That's a long time not to have been behind a wheel. Have you got a driving licence? The Lexus, for me, is as ugly as sin, and for me looks are very important with cars. In some way, they have to look 'cool', and be a bit different from the norm :)
I'm not so much into high top-speeds, as you can't use them in this country (or virtually any country) on public roads. It's all about *how* a car gets to 70/80mph - on the right road, and so acceleration and the way the car 'feels' when you're driving it, is what is important to me, as that's where the fun factor lies! :exactly:

No, I've never had a licence. Couldn't afford the lessons when I was younger, then I was involved in a couple of nasty head on collisions (not me driving I should point out) within a short space of time and that sort of put me off.
Ugly as sin? Really?

I had the Lexus/Toyota SC400 for a while (also known as the Soarer in some quarters). That 4 litre quad cam V8 engine was a thing of beauty! Plenty fast, and I used to get through rear tyres at quite a rate. Great handling, and very well fitted out.
