Bargains on ebay?

If the item were paid for, could it not be collected at a later date?

Don't know if it's at all helpful but I live on the east side of Sheffield and, (for petrol money for a 1400cc old Corsa :) ) would be willing to collect it and hang on to it for a while but what about the rest of the journey?
Further thoughts:
my son's job takes him around a lot of the country but it's erratic and usually at quite short notice - maybe he could get it a bit nearer to you at some point?

If you want it buy it and you will find someone who will collect and send to you.

My youngest brother visits Lincoln often and he could pick it up and bring it to me and then I could send it on with UPS for just under £10.

When I worked in a hi-fi shop back in the 80's I had a Rappaport pre on loan for a few weeks and I shed some real tears when I returned it. Awesome sound paired with a Hafler power amp and feeding a pair of Harbeth HL2's as I recall.
I have seen a very rare few on ebay over the years and most look like they have been used as axle stands, or the modules have been robbed out, making them utterly useless.

At the moment it is at pathetically low money for one of the best pre's ever made in MY opinion, so I wish the seller would provide a postage option :(

You could always arrange courier collection if he would just pack it for you?

Whats happened to the Jag Dave?

I might try a different tack here.

I will wait and see if nobody else bids it too high then have a go at buying it.

Then I will let the seller know it will be collected but then later say I have been let down and could he post it once the heat is off with all the other items he is selling. I think that might be the problem in that he has a list of items for sale and doesn't relish the idea of back and forth to the post office with armfuls of parcels.
