I ordered that one from Amazon, went to grind some Lao coffee beans up but when I opened the box it had an EU plug on it. Very annoying and took about 30 minutes with Amazon to get a return label. They were saying it was supplied by a seller so was not their property, even though they supplied it, so they can not exchange it. Anyway I have the return label now, so I will send it back for a refund and re-order it from Amazon, but the price has gone up now.

The blade looks similar to the old grinder I had before. This is also made in China, I thought it was German. Difficult to get away from made in China. Had the same on a "german" cable.

sorry to here of your troubles.. yes china seems currently to make stuff for most countries' companies. own quite a few too alas.. we need to be changing this; reverse the trend and UK buyers need to be prepared to pay a bit more for a locally made product... the way china is going though, i wont be surprised to see tariffs going up to slow down their march to world domination.;)

Thanks, it's no big deal but just rather annoying. I will reorder so should be here in a few days. I will return the other one when I go out shopping on Wednesday.

I wish items had the country of origin on them, it is far too unclear on some items. I would avoid Amazon as well but difficult to get some things elsewhere and no big shopping centres near me, Norwich is the nearest but that's 30 miles away and parking is a nightmare.
