A big thanks to John (Sondekker) for a 1958 Westinghouse 12BH7a which has tonight been singing in the Croft 25R.

To be honest I was not expecting what this valve has done in the line stage. Big soundstage with fantastic three dimensional image and great depth. More details in the background and a very solid big hearty sound.

This has elevated the sound of my system and given it a bit of liquid valve magic!

I must say the generosity of Brian (2957) has been amazing and I would like to say a huge thanks to him for a never ending supply of bits and pieces for my Lenco GL75 including a thrust plate, new ceramic ball bearing and a superbly constructed replacement phono lead with plugs attached and pre tinned ready to solder.

This chap is definitely more than a gentleman and one of the main reasons AOS is such a great forum for meeting liked minded and extremely generous people.

Would just like to thank a few members who have helped me with honest and quick sales. Its always hard sending big cash via PayPal or Bank Transfer to someone you have never met thinking I hope the item arrives:rolleyes:

Anyway

Thanks to Lewis for a quick dispatch on some RCA cables that arrived safe and quickly:)

Ian Mac for my turntable bearing that has made a noticeable difference at a very low cost. Delivered next day as promised.:)

Mickeyb for the quick next day delivery of the Ortofon 2m Black cart. Big chunk of money sent but very honest guy thank you:) Loving the sound now its set up.

And last Mike Music for my Jelco arm and Oyaide cables. Another big chunk of money sent all on trust and worked out fine. Such a nice guy who spoke on the phone giving upgrade advice etc:). Thank you all:D

But on a down side I am now broke due to the expense and will have to sell it all and by a Lidl special :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The last bit was a joke. And happy to say my SL1210 is now singing:eek:

Great site great members. Nice to see people not trying to rip each other off:D
