Cool, but after that she'll probably want to go to the park and work it off on the swings! No rest for the wicked, mate...:D

Anyway, what did you think of the blues albums I bought (pics shown in my opening post)? Safe choices, but classic stuff!:)
Marco.
Both are compilations but the Hooker one is a reissue of a very old comp from way back in 59. detroit blues, and its very good. Not heard the King one but pretty sure its a double.
Yups... Both are fab (and sound great too, which is often the case with older recordings), as is the Lou Reed:)
Love buying music from independent record shops, rather than just using the likes of Amazon. Much more of an enjoyable experience, and there are loads of them around this area.

Have you heard of this place, Martin: https://www.facebook.com/themusicalboxrecordshop/
Oldest in Liverpool - since 1947!
457 West Derby Road, Tuebrook,Liverpool, L6 4BL.
Trying to picture where that is - is it Anfield/Walton way?:)
Marco.
No never heard of it. It's way out in the sticks - Tuebrook - don't think I've ever even been there.
I've not lived in Liverpool since 1987 and back then there was at least a dozen places selling vinyl in the city centre, no need to go miles out searching for it. :)
Lol, yeah... But with it being old and out in the sticks, that adds to its charm, so I'll be checking it out next time I'm there:)

Yes it would seem to be worth a look on the strength of that alone.
