Prompted by Adrian, I played:
Shakti (with John McLaughlin) - 'Natural Elements'

Vinyl
As I found before, it's pleasant enough, but again I found I wasn't really listening to it with much intent. I think the problem is I don't really like jazz guitar (apart from Charlie Bird and Charlie Christian).
And since they are filed close together:
Lalo Schifrin - '– The Dissection And Reconstruction Of Music From The Past As Performed By The Inmates Of Lalo Schifrin's Demented Ensemble As A Tribute To The Memory Of The Marquis De Sade'

Vinyl
Arguably it could be accused of being 'easy listening', but is more akin to Jazz and better composed as you would expect from a writer of film scores.
I think you mean 'Live at the Festival Hall'. Yes I have heard it.
I agree that it is not all 'fusion' (thank goodness), as witnessed by his 'Thieves and Poets', but again that left me cold.

Sorry yes ‘Festival Hall’ is what I meant. Well we all like different things and that includes music, which is just as well for musicians or it could be all be a the same. As long as we each enjoy what we listen to that’s all that matters really. Cheers

if its badly warped its unlikely to be fixed.. gentle warps can be tho. yoi have to be careful with temp and time tho. there are companies that do it, but its not perfect and not cheap
The warp is not severe, so I'll risk it for a biscuit and report back. Just need the sun to return, but probably an early morning thing.
