The B139 was also used in the Cambridge R40 and P50 transmission lines and in the Hi-Fi Answers transmission line kits. I had a pair of R40s for many years and they were excellent speakers.

Might be of interest to someone in the South as they seem to go on the Bay for over £200

Lafayette pre amp, i was thinking of bidding on it to match my power amp but the current price is a bit high with three days to go
I was tempted to pick up the phone there and then, Andrew. However, I don't really need another pair of speakers and my pennies are directed elsewhere at the moment. Lucky person who gets them.
I have just given away a pair of Dittion 44's to a friend. One HF2000 tweeter was blown. I suggested that he fits a pair of cheap Audax tweeters from JPW Mini Monitors, he did this yesterday and is very pleased with the sound. His other speakers include Quad ESL63's, Tannoy Monitor Gold 12", B&W DM2's, some small AR's and some small vintage Mordaunt Shorts.
Martin,
Yep! I have a bunch of stuff coming from Deepest Darkest Scotland (Paul Hynes), and also overseas from Greece. I'm now really torn between updated my SS stuff or now developing my Valve system. I'm hankering after a Audio Research PH8. On the SS side of things its either a P10, or a Whest phonostage of some description, or even a new Preamp, maybe Mark Levinson to replace the ATC SCA2 I have at the moment. Decisions, decisions
FCUK! :steam:
I know what you mean! I also have an SR7 coming from Paul and now some Tellurium Q Ultra Black speaker cables on order. I must put more things on eBay.
The only advice I can give you is that the P10 will improve every aspect of a system. Otherwise, I'd have the Whest over and over :)
