Well I gave that William Orbit "Pieces in a Modern Style" another go, and I still don't like it.
It sounds like something you get when your insurance company puts you on hold ("We're experiencing an unusually large volume of calls, so here's some pretend classical cack to be going on with") :(
It got good reviews on the Amazon, so maybe it's just me. But I'm glad it only cost me a quid on t'car boot.
I first heard the album 15 years ago when auditioning some PMC DB1i speakers at Audio T in Manchester, which despite their dinky dimensions managed to reach the bass frequencies William Orbit was so fond of. I didn't buy the speakers, but went straight out and bought the album :)Quote:
