yup i used to too.. lots of nitrogen etc, and good to keep slugs away too.. just a knock box is a great way to get the puck out of the porta filter. you can collect them then add to gardenQuote:

Got pretty much the ideal grind setting dialled-in now, dude: 3.5 turns anticlockwise, from the zero position. Moka pots seem to prefer a finer grind than professional espresso machines (4 turns, or anything above that, is too coarse), so I'll probably have to readjust that setting again when the Smegster arrives:)
However, both the superior quality of the grind, due to the Lido 3 being WAY better than what I had before, and the fact that I'm now grinding beans fresh every morning (rather than the night before, as it used to take ages), has markedly improved the quality of the coffee I'm getting - nice one:thumbsup:
