Anything by Leonard Cohen is good - even 'Death of a Ladies Man'.
This afternoon I sat down to listen to Supertramp's 'Crime of the Century', and Mrs. P moaned "Oh not this again!" although it's been a few weeks. She suggested I work through my records, from A-Z (this'll take a while), and she agreed to listen to whatever that means, without complaint.
First up was Alabama Shakes' "Sound and Colour", which she actually liked. That's as far as we got. I predict tough times ahead though, as she can't stand The Beatles, and she's not a big fan of Kate Bush either. She has no idea how much Frank Zappa lies ahead, but we'll probably both be stone deaf by then.
I don't see this working out.

This nice little number arrived today, purchased on a friends recommendation, and it is rather good. I have a vague recollection of it back in the day. The SQ of this re-issue is excellent.

. and now the infamous Pink Fairies, although not that well known they were quite influential with respect to early Heavy Rock and Metal, with association with Hawkwind and Motφrhead. Well worth a listen this one if you like early hard rock.
