Don't know about that, what I would consider 'yacht music' includes "Sailing" by Rod Stewart, "Dancing with the Captain" by Paul Nicholas, Duran Duran's "Rio" (well the video anyway) and "Rock the Boat" by The Hues Corporation.Quote:

I had not realised Alan Parsons released a new album last year, so when I found out I just had to order a copy. If AP Project or AP is your bag then this one is rather good IMO. Very well produced, great dynamics, good songs and a mix of feel, one is even a big band hitter, in some ways the album is reminiscent of some of the earlier Alan Parsons Project offerings, oh and yes it has a theme which you will discover if you buy the album. AP does it again IMO.

Pat Metheney Group, "First Circle". Not played this in a while. Always have to skip the intro, which is dire. Rest of it is great :) Seems to be a nice pressing too, is this a characteristic of ECM, or did I mishear?
