For me too, yes - especially in that matt-black paint finish. It's also meant to be a peach [a really sporty 'drivers' car], and that's still what turns me on. In 20 years time, when I'll have no choice but to embrace 'old man-hood', things will change. Probably...:eyebrows:
However, until then, I intend to have as much of a ball/FUN on four wheels as I possibly can!! :D:trust:
Safe, boring conservatism, mundaneness, and compliance with the 'accepted norm', or what the government would 'prefer' you to drive, can go and take a running jump!

I have no comment regarding the Civic (well nothing polite enough for here ).
Lol - don't hold back, let's see how rude you can be!:D

My mate Big Al test drove a number of hot hatches and other affordable performance cars a while back, including the Mini Cooper S and the Civic Type R.
He reckoned the Cooper felt 'detached' with no feel in the steering and described the Type R as 'A biscuit tin full of electronics.' He couldn't find anything that was a 'drivers car' and had respectable fuel economy. Ended up buying a diesel estate.
Lol... Did he try a Golf R or a Ford Focus ST? If so, he might've come away with a different impression?;)
I like the Honda a) because of its 'purposeful appearance', as I love that 'square, sculpted' look, with hard edges, as for me it's bad-ass, and b) I like the engine, as the technology has been trickled down from Honda's racing car pedigree. it would also be extremely reliable, as all Hondas are.
They're arguably the definitive, high-quality and most innovative Japanese car brand, capable of producing something genuinely fast and sporty at a sensible price.
