Indeed - you have a perfect right to cut them back if they overhang the boundary between your property and his, but since the tree is in his garden, the overhanging branches are his property. I'd have gladly mopped your floor for you mate, when I was up, as I'm used to doing ours all the time. It gets done religiously every day, along with all the units, cooker, fridge and work surfaces, as I can't abide a dirty kitchen.
If you keep on top of it, it's not so big a chore (although I know you're not fit enough for that). Takes me about an hour every morning:)

One other point, as it's a 2000 Watt motor, cable is quite thick and not all that long, an extension lead is necessary, make sure it's rated for that sort of power, and if it's on a reel, unwind the reel fully.
managed a hoover of kitchen and livingroom.. gonna pay for that but it was getting me down, with bits of fluff on carpet...my ocd was playing up :lol: its a dark blue carpet in livingroom and shows up everything. kitchen can be washed now, when i grab someone :eyebrows:

About 3 years ago my brother bought a Titan SDS drill, burnt out the motor same day, returned it and it was exchanged no question. The replacement only lasted a day, and that was duly replaced. What he failed to mention was that he was core-drilling for 5" soil pipes through 12" of solid sandstone wall, which was way beyond its intended use.

Yes the same one. Although he doesn't have the road rage, he just incites it in others. In the two most recent cases, he was invited to leave at the next services, so this bloke could sort him out. Not expecting my brother to comply.
