Ah, I think I may have missed out the post with the main designs, this will be a modular system:
There will be two main configurations:
V1 - 2 way using a Volt BM251.3 Mid-Bass (<800Hz) and Radian 850pb compression drivers in a 400Hz Stereolab Tractrix horn (>800Hz)
V2 - 2.5 way using the Volt BM251.3 Mid-Bass (<300Hz) and the Veravox 5S wide range driver (300Hz-~8kHz) with a Fountek JP2 ribbon (passive >8kHz) on top.
I have only started to have a play late this evening with the V1 so far. Interesting.
Its mainly going by ear at the moment as I am waiting for the microphone to arrive.
The V1 configuration is sounding very promising now on a second try, compared to a quick play with the V2.
