It was a great rock show, although the acoustics were not that great I seem to remember.
This is a pretty good re-release IMO, dynamic and sounds to me that the mix has not been played with.

As an aside for a 120g record from the 80's the SQ is surprisingly good, maybe Threshold and the Moodies kept a close watch on pressing quality at the time.

Penultimate one in my collection, most of it is very good and has the typical Moodies feel but a couple of the tracks seem a bit odd. I am not sure if this is Patrick Moraz's influence who joined the band after Mike Pinder left, which is odd considering Moraz's past outings on his own and with Yes.

And I have finally arrived at the last album in my Moody Blues collection, this one is definitely a bit more pop feel, it is still very listenable, it did get in several charts and spawned two chart singles in the US, so they were still popular. Interestingly (or not) Discogs no longer classify them as psychedelic rock, but with this album its Classic Rock, since Seventh Sojourn psychedelic rock had been lost and was replaced by Soft Rock or Symphonic rock, maybe indicating the change or loss of style.
