I once saw Raymond Burr in a film where he was standing up! Didn't look right somehow.

"A Quinn Martin Production"...
Everything about it 'smells of the 70s'! Loved it to bits...
Marco.
It was a while ago, but having checked, yes that was it.
As 'Quinn Martin' productions go, they don't get any better than 'The Invaders'. That's another one I wouldn't mind seeing again. I seem to remember that they had something dodgy about their hands that gave them away.
Just watched a recording from this week "The Poseidon" remake with Kurt Russel, there is some serious bass through out with the ship explosion/fireballs, and this strange noise ? "Turn It Down" As advised here by another member "Turn It Up Till You Can No Longer Hear Turn It Down" who then disappeared off to bed:D
Great programme tonight, on BBC2, for music lovers, featuring coverage from a very famous studio!

Don't miss it!
Marco.
P.S Check out those gorgeous big JBLs in the background!!
New 'Magum PI' at 2100 tonight on Sky One. Everyone needs to watch it because otherwise Sky will cancel it.
Also new 'Curse Of Oak Island' on History, also at 2100 so you'll have to tape one of them. Or both.
Oh come on. The new Magnum is bound to be dire. After all, the original was aimed at fourteen year old schoolboys.
And as for Oak Island. A documentary about a mystery? The only mystery is when anything will actually happen, apart from a bunch of clueless blokes getting muddy!
I'm surprised at Macca recommending watching something made after 1985. But I've watched two or three of these, and found it to be watchable escapist entertainment - place looks great, and I could happily holiday there despite the show making it look like nearly everyone is a crook. Not too taxing on the brain though. I'm glad to see that Robin Masters has shelled out for Higgins' "gender reassignment", though it hasn't helped with his/her acting, which is even shitter.
My mate's wife apparently love "Oak Island" as she is always trying to put it on when I visit, but my mate insists it's crap, so she has to go into the other room to watch. Never fancied it myself - is it anything like "Acorn Antiques"?
Love those American "mystery documentaries". Always the same formula: start out asking a question, waffle for ten minutes, take an advert break after which they repeat the footage you sat through before the break, and this carries on for a whole hour. At the end of which no one is any the wiser.
