On a fishing holiday round Scotland in 1975 I took my newly-bought Prinzsound cassette player (£21 from Dixons) and the only tapes we had were Temptations' greatest hits, Autobahn, and Tubular Bells. But overall his output over the 50 years is pretty varied, so there is probably something there for everyone, as well as a lot of cack. But this (Return to Ommadawn) is my favourite. Proper chilled.

I think it has stood the test of time. And I think I'll seek out an earlier one of theirs ("Introduce Yourself") which was before Mike Patton took on lead singer job. I seem to remember liking it, the track "We Care a Lot" is a belter :) "It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it"Quote:
