I can't imagine a worse system on which to listen to anything.
The Linn Kans were krap, only surpassed in lousy audio performance by the much more expensive Isobariks.

I don't think I've ever heard any Linn speakers. Were they really that bad? I thought they had a following. I did used to have an LP12, with a Grace tonearm and Nagaoka MP11 Boron. I quite liked that, but maybe it wouldn't seem very good by today's standards. But... I bought it for £300, kept it 20 years, then got £500 for it, so mustn't grumble.

Listening and deciding if what one is listening to is actually good or not, is for the individual and, the individual alone!! Only the individual can decide !! What sounds shite to one person might sound perfectly acceptable to another. :thumbsup:
