So this morning I had it my mind to play my second choice, (more later of that classic live album), when this his fourth album caught my eye. I discovered this now 5 time Grammy Award winner on the release of his self titled second album in 1994 and have been a fan ever since.

So to my live album choice this morning, well if you have heard tracks from this group and always wanted to dip your toes in the water then this live album would be a great place to start. This band has honed these songs to perfection live and so for me, many of the versions here are the definitive versions !
The band has been releasing albums and singles since 1968 and currently have released 18 studio albums, six live albums, seven (official) compilation albums, and at least 29 singles and who’s former members include the legend that is Boz Scaggs !

So lastly and staying with the letter M in my music library we have this second solo studio album from Alf. Or should I say Genevičve Alison Jane Moyet MBE who as of June 2023 hes worldwide album sales of a certified 23 million, with over two million singles sold. All nine of her studio albums and three compilation albums have charted in the top 30 of the UK Albums Chart, with two of them reaching number one. She has also achieved nine top 30 singles and six top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart.
