Agree Supertramp have a distinctive sound, and the album you cite sounds interesting if, as you say, it is a bit more 'bluesy'.
In general I like most of their output, but could never get on with "In the Quietest Moments". My favourites are: "Crime of the Century"; "Crisis, What Crisis?", and of course "Breakfast in America".
Hi Barry, we are on the same page although I'm okay with Even In The Quitest Moments and Famous Last Words too. However, there's no doubt that their sound is distinctive and I'm also a fan of Roger Hodgson's album In The Eye Of The Storm which was not loved by the critics!
