Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
This is almost twenty years old now. Where does that go? At the time I thought Mike Myers could be the new Peter Sellars but it never really happened. Still good though.
My favourite bit is the group therapy session with Doctor Evil where they ask him to talk about his childhood:
'My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanise, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims; like - he had invented the question mark.'
