Weddings not my bag either, but yes it may be interesting to see how things are done Sikh-style. Nice people, and made me bacon butties at lunch time. We may not end up going, Anita is less of a people person than me :)Quote:

We had a Buddhist wedding, in Galle, Sri Lanka. Wife wore a pale blue sari , I always wanted a white wedding so I plumped for a white shirt and a white skirt. ;) with gold trim
I haven’t got a scooby what was said during the blessing , there was a registrar piece at the end in english. We had professional makeup and hairdresser for the wife, drummers and dancers , some close family were there with us. Total cost for the wedding including our outfits , cake and a slap up meal for 7... about £600.

are you bragging or complaining Marco???....The niece had her wedding at some refurbished stables and barns in Stanley Co. Durhem...£24.000...the stupid cow....her man has since pissed off and left her...and they are still paying for the wedding......it lasted less than a year....
