At that budget you should also try and listen to a pair of Adam A7s (active nearfield monitors). I use these in my home studio (which currently shares a room with my HiFi) and I'm increasingly thinking about merging the systems. I've been incredibly impressed with the A7s.Quote:

I'm really interested in the 7520! Could someone tell me if it's available already modded (at extra cost), or is it always a DIY job?
One thing I'd hoped was that it would automatically switch between inputs, depending which source was playing, but I gather this isn't possible?! :)

There's a TC-7520 mod thread about. Maybe you can come up with a mod to do that:).
