Yes that's the Trent. It's not that far from where it rises, maybe 10 miles.

That's at full flood after all the rain, the other week when I was down there I could have walked across it without getting my ankles wet.

Nothing remotely resembling floods here... Piggurs' panties would be damper. The recent rain wasn't heavy enough, or rather sustained heavy for long enough. Bright sunshine here now in Wrexham. Just about to pop a lovely piece of 28-day aged ribeye on the BBQ!:cool:

My neighbourhood in 1933. All the chimneys and bottle ovens you can see (except for two) are now gone, as are almost all the factory buildings.

My street is the row facing the camera, extreme bottom left. Although my actual house is off to the left just outside the shot. Apart from parked cars the street has not changed at all.
