Philips Main System

I'm about to try a couple of TT projects using cutting boards/butcher's blocks but was worried that they'd fall to bits having a great hole cut out. Any problems ?:scratch:

It sounds great I think... you could make it heavier my adding a few extra layers but for me this is fine... If you want any other pics of the underneath etc let me know.

This is on my list of things to do, so any pointers, guidance and previous experience would be a great help.
