Yes you would damage the cover - the adhesive on the back of Dymo labels is especially tenacious, especially after a year or two.

I have enough of a problem with the self-adhesive labels stuck on CD and LP covers. Fortunately I have a method told to me by a bookshop owner which works well.

Don't know, I'll let you know if we ever have one. You are of course always welcome, and your usual attire will be more than acceptable, in fact you will be lending a sophisticated air to the proceedings. Just be sure to bring your own music, food, booze, a barbecue set, and be prepared to find us not at home :)
