I saw them live in about '87 at Leeds Roundhay Park (Invisible Touch tour I think) and they were just amazing. But the sheer power, scale and dynamics of their live performance was never going to be fully captured in a recording.
I have only one live record of theirs (Seconds Out), and good though it is, the SQ was as much as could be expected at the time. Maybe Three Sides Live is better? I've never heard it.
