Reminds me of something else.
In the late 60's I built a Mini, had a bored out MG1100 engine which I had carefully rebuilt. It was a Cooper S eater, but looked completely standard from the outside. My friend did not believe that it was fast. Took him for a ride in it. His comment was;
"Sounds like a Spitfire, and I don't mean a Triumph Spitfire"
I still have the Mini, would like to rebuild it if I have the energy!
The bats are out in force tonight.
I'm sat on the lawn near the pond and can feel the rush of air as they swoop in to collect the insects.
They're unbelievably acrobatic.
Strange things bats. Essentially a blind mouse that's been equipped with radar and a hang-glider.
2 new kittens last week - Hades and Zeus.
Now about 9 weeks old.

All feeding together with their big brother (not related!)

Oh so cute
They are lovely, I've got a real soft spot for house panthers
A lot of older cats would be aggressive to them or ignore them, funny how they all have very different personalities.
Big paws and a terrible cattitude, thats what i get for asking for the moggy that no one else wants from the Blue Cross rescue center.
She is an complete asshole, but i wouldnt have it any other way.

Good on you for rescuing her and I'm glad you are getting on well

My moggy is completely unamused by this nightly occurrence.
Not sure what Mia's smiling about but she seems happy enough.

Some lovely pics of cats - keep them coming.
One of our kittens enjoying the music (I think that was what he was doing!!)

This is what you get from choosing the only cat at the Blue Cross that no one else wants.
:mental:
He 's just checking that he's still as awesome as he used to be.
I think this was a version of the Paraline.

There really was only that design of cabinet, recommended unit was the cheap but good Elac 8N148/8N185 or the Lowther PM6 (expensive).
What is not shown on that drawing is the small amount damping that was fitted near the drive unit. 1 Watt in to this speaker provided quite a good sound level, and a nice quality.
In later years what Tiddles (mk 2) liked was a palr of Quad 63's (giant scratching posts), me not pleased.
I have no words to describe this..

He looks very happy chatting to his buddy.

A handsome chap.
Dogs seem to show such much more emotion compared to cats, who don't really give a shit or even care.

As mad as a box of frogs!
He looks quite happy in that last one.
I know how destructive cats can be if they don't have their own scratching post, but under your stairs is the worst example I've ever seen! Looks quite proud of his/her work though :)
Taking your advice Jon, re the Renault-engined Vitos, and might be going all the way to Milton piggin' Keynes on Sunday to look at a nice one. If it hasn't sold. 66 plate, 80-odd thousand miles, 9k plus the dreaded. I'm ok with that, but it depends what they'll give me for the old 'un.
A pic of the 2 kittens.
The one asleep (Zeus) has been ill for 2 weeks now and the vets have no idea what it is (they suspect it is feline coronavirus but waiting on the final blood results to come back)
He has been through the wars the last 2 weeks with loads of examinations, x-rays, ultrasound etc - missing loads of fur.
Last few days he has seemed a little bit more alert but still has a high temperature and sleeping all the time (apart from eating and shitting ;) )

If he's eating he can't be too bad. Poor fellow. Cats are tough, I'm sure he'll pick up in due course.
I really hope he recovers very soon, like Martin said if he's eating that's a good sign. They get into our hearts so quickly don't they and it's so worrying and upsetting when they are ill. Get well soon little one.
